About Us
The study finds that habitually barefoot group tend to have stronger intrinsic muscle compared to those who are habitually shod/wearing modern shoes*
Modern shoes here are defined as shoes with some combination of features that affect natural foot motion, including: restrictive toe boxes, heel counters, arch supports and toe springs. The shoes with a lot of padding like a pair of little running sneakers are included in this category.
This is why we here at Pyopp, commit ourselves to bring you the shoes that will be as close as possible as if your kids are barefooted. All of our shoes would be as minimalist as possible:
-
Thin soled for optimum sensory feedback,
-
Come with wide toe box,
-
Zero drop heel, and
-
The whole flexible construction is designed to support natural foot development.
The idea of barefoot shoes come firstly in 2016, when Jacqualine’s kid, the founder, are diagnosed with flat feet and suggested to wear orthopedics rigid shoes. The research and the fight began since then, to create a pair of shoes that would support her kid’s healthy and natural foot development. The kid is now 3 year old and could walk strongly and naturally. We really hope we could accompany your kids’ journey, too!
Because, after all, we were born barefooted for a reason.
